B&D has been involved in cutting-edge projects to include being the electrical service provider for the first vertical laminar flow clean room, fab facility upgrades from 200MM to 300MM wafers, the first solar thermal test facility (central receiver concept with heliostats), and the first large-scale commercial nuclear fuel enrichment plant in the United States, as well numerous high-performance computer systems.

Troy Beall

Chief Executive Officer / Owner

Following in his father’s footsteps and joining the company in 1977 as a Journeyman Wireman, Troy has the longest standing tenure at B&D.

As a New Mexico native, and a seasoned owner of a construction firm, he recognizes and values the trust his customers place in him, and he strives every day to exceed their expectations. 

As CEO/Owner, Troy is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company by working with the board of directors and the executive management team to establish long-term goals, strategies and plans with B&D’s mission, vision, and values in mind.  His forward thinking and leadership have been the foundation behind the company’s success and growth. Troy is a business-savvy advisor, offering a unique perspective, entrepreneurial drive and repeat success in new ventures and performance turnarounds.  

Troy has been active in industry associations for more than 35+ years and has served on several industry boards of directors. He served as Past Governor for the National Electrical Contractors Association of New Mexico and is currently an active member of the Associated General Contractors of New Mexico, National Electrical Contractors Association of New Mexico, National Fire Protection Association Code Committee, and the Electric Roundtable.

Troy and his wife Cindy enjoy traveling around the world and spending time with their grandbabies.  They are also avid concert fans and attend as many concerts as they can.

Clinton Beall

President / Owner

Clinton joined his family business in 2001 and is a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor Degree in Political Science.

As co-owner and President, Clinton is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company by working with the board of directors and the executive management team to establish long-term goals, strategies and plans with B&D’s mission, vision, and values in mind.  

Clinton is also charged with advancing employee engagement and overseeing all operations and business activities to ensure the fulfillment and alignment with B&D’s mission, vision, and values.

He has over 15 years of executive level leadership, operations, and management experience. It is his passion to foster relationships with his personnel, customers, and vendors to form strong networks and strategic alliances.  

Clinton has been active in industry associations, acting as the past President of the Electric Roundtable, Current President of New Mexico Associated General Contractors.  

Chris Carrasco

Director – Risk Management

Chris joined B&D in 2009 and is a graduate of the University of Phoenix earning a degree in Business Management.

He is currently the Executive Director of Risk Management and is based out of the Arizona office.  In his current role, he is responsible for oversight and delivery of the organization’s corporate safety and risk management program. The program includes a robust approach to risk identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting across all domains of risk inherent in the business.  Chris leads the company’s operations, with responsibility for business in Arizona, and oversees the company’s ongoing expansion efforts.

Chris brings a wealth of knowledge to B&D and has worked in environmental health, safety, and risk management for over 30 years, primarily in the semiconductor industry. He is a certified OSHA 500 Authorized Outreach Trainer and Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO).    

As a fraternity alumnus, Chris is heavily involved in mentoring his brothers of FIJI. Chris is a proud father of his son, who lives in Ohio, and his daughter, who resides in New Mexico. While he is dedicated to spending his fall and winter seasons cheering on the Green Bay Packers, you will most likely find him during the spring and summer seasons fishing on the New Mexico rivers or hanging out with friends or family.

Craig Chiado

Chief Financial Officer

Craig is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University with a Bachelor of Business Administration with concentration in Accounting and Finance.

Craig is a licensed CPA that has devoted his career to optimizing the financial success of companies of all sizes, public and privately owned, including Fortune 500 enterprises.  

Craig joined B&D as a Controller in 2015, became the Director of Finance in 2017 and accelerated into the position of CFO, where he manages all financial aspects of the company, primarily focusing on cash management and government compliance, in 2018.

As a champion of operational excellence, productivity and systems innovation, Craig has shaped an incredible executive presence at B&D and is credited with playing an instrumental role in the company’s financial evolution.

He is admired by his reports, colleagues, and superiors; and is respected by his community.  He enjoys his equally important role as a son, brother, uncle, and dog dad.  Nurturing a high-drive personal nature that really took off playing college football, Craig experiences a healthy and active lifestyle, including golf and fishing.  The energy powering his personal life is equally evident in his aspirations toward his professional future as B&D’s CFO.

Nikki Parsons

Chief Administrative Officer

As Executive Director of Administration, Nikki bears overall corporate responsibility for the oversight and direction of all internal controls and

processes for construction management from contract review, job costs, work in progress to project completion. 

Nikki joined B&D Industries in 2002 in an entry level administrative position and rose through the ranks of Contracts Manager, and Director of Contracts & Administration, before being appointed in 2021 to Executive Director of Administration. 

Nikki plays an active role in leadership training for B&D company wide.  Through active mentorship and work with industry initiatives like GiANT Worldwide, Nikki is committed to making an impact in both our organization and our industry.  Focused on true collaboration and maximizing value on B&D’s projects, Nikki’s long-term career goal is to mentor employees to their highest potential so we can retain, develop, and attract the best talent in the industry.

Nikki and her husband Jason have two amazing children and a life full of 4-H, horseback riding, and time with their friends and family.  Nikki and her family love to be outdoors and enjoy camping and creating new memories.  Working on home and yard improvement projects at their home in Peralta, and raising chickens, along with other farm animals is a fun hobby for the entire family as well.

Raul Martinez

Senior Director – Construction Services

Since Raul Martinez joined B&D in March of 2008, he has worked his way up through many different positions.

He started his time at B&D working as an apprentice until he graduated from the JATC in 2013, and has since worked as an Estimator, Project Engineer, Project Manager, and Operations Manager, giving him the wide span of knowledge that prepared him to serve at his current position – Director of Construction Services.

As the Director of Construction Services, Raul has to wear many hats. He provides high-level supervision, training, guidance, and support to the Estimating, Purchasing, Learning & Development, and Preconstruction Departments. His knowledge and experience make him a valuable asset to his co-workers and to providing the B&D Experience. 

Raul’s electrical background, field proficiency, and critical thinking skills help him excel in his current position as Director of Construction Services while guiding the future of B&D’s internal training programs.

Outside of work, Raul is on the JATC Committee and spends time with his wife, Loyola, and daughter, Adelina. He enjoys watching and attending sporting events, being outdoors, and spending time in the mountains.

Ray Barber

Director – Labor/Safety Management

The safety of our technicians is a top priority at B&D, and no one knows safety like Ray Barber.

Ray has a bachelor’s degree in business management and is a Specialist in Safety and Health, as well as a Certified Safety and Health Official. He spent two years as the Safety Chair for the AGC Safety Committee and is a member of the NECA Labor management committee.

Ray started his time at B&D with a focus on safety, joining us in 2012 as a Safety Professional.  In 2017, he started transitioning into Labor Management as well as Safety, in 2019 he was promoted into the position of Labor Productivity/Safety Manager, and he now serves as our Director of Labor Productivity/Safety Management.  

Day to day, Ray makes sure that we have the proper manpower needed for all of our projects, but more importantly, he is responsible for the health and safety of each and every B&D employee. He says that he loves working for a Company that is truly family-oriented and values its employees.

Ray has been happily married to his wife, Lorie, for 34 years. He has two kids, Leoni and Cody, and two grandkids, Kenzie and Jace. Outside of work, Ray used to be a DJ, but he recently retired. He now likes to be outdoors, camping, fishing, and hunting whenever he has the chance.

Ray Barber - Director of Labor/Safety Management

Mario Saavedra

Director – Construction

Mario joined B&D in 2005, and has since worked hard to gain even more experience and industry expertise that makes him so valuable to the B&D family.

Even after starting at B&D Mario has continued his education. He is a 2009 graduate of NMJATC and completed Journeyman exams to earn an EE98J and an EL1J.

On Mario’s first day at B&D he was an apprentice. He has since gained experience at a variety of positions. In over 15 years working at B&D Mario has served as a Journeyman Wireman, Foreman, Superintendent, project manager, and Area Manager. In 2020, Mario was promoted to his current position as Director of Construction, where he uses his unique work experience to handle the distinctive needs of construction projects of all sizes.

Mario loves fishing, camping, and spending time with his family, including his wife, Chandice, and his two kids, Gabe and Lilly.

Bryan Atwood

Senior Regional Director – Construction

As a Director of Construction, Bryan oversees our New York office and all of our Data Center projects.

Before he took over his current roll, Bryan moved up through the management ranks, learning more and more about our business while becoming the leader that he is today. He started his time at B&D in March of 2011 as a project engineer, before becoming a project manager, senior project manager, area manager, and finally a director in December of 2020. Bryan has also earned a Project Management Certificate from UNM. 

Outside of work Bryan enjoys spending time with his wife, Samantha Atwood. He likes to make time for hunting and fishing as well as playing volleyball or a round of golf. 

Jamie Westerfield

Director – Business Development & Marketing

Jamie Westerfield serves as the Director of Business Development & Marketing. 

Her 20+ years of experience tied with her knowledge of the industry and excitement for the B&D Advantage makes her an asset to the B&D leadership team.  A graduate from the University of New Mexico, she joined B&D in 2012 and quickly grew within the company into her current role.  She has a passion for marketing, sharing B&D’s voice within the community, with a heavy focus on B&D’s mission, vision and, values. Her favorite part of the job truly involves taking care of customers. She enjoys getting out to the jobsites and showing appreciation to the field personnel. Jamie is committed to making an impact in both B&D and the construction industry.

Jamie has a passion for old cars, primarily classics, and enjoys the local custom car shows New Mexico has to offer. In her free time, you will find her tackling home improvement projects, reading, camping, traveling, golfing, and spending time with her family, including her two daughters, Kayla and Lennon.

Chris Giovenco

Director - Service

Chris Giovenco has served in a variety of roles throughout his time at B&D. When he joined the B&D family, he started out as a service technician.

After gaining several years of service experience he tested for his journeymen refrigeration and was bumped up to journeymen classification. Chris later served as the service manager for Albuquerque Public Schools, soon after took on Rio Rancho Public Schools, and became Service Manager at the Santa Fe office primarily working with the city of Santa Fe. He was then promoted to Sr. Service manager to help oversee other managers, then Service Area Manager, and after a year was promoted to Director – Service at the beginning of 2022. 

Chris is so important to our day-to-day operations as he oversees the service department including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC services. He likes guitars, cars, and spending time with his family including his wife, Kasi, and two kids Gibson and Raegan. 

Miguel Duran

Director - Construction

Miguel Duran has been a part of the B&D family for over 20 years. He grew up in Bernalillo, NM, and took on his first role at B&D, working as a shop boy for the summer in 1997.

Five years later, Miguel was hired on as a Data technician. He later became a Project Manager and was soon promoted to Area Manager, where he gained 13 years of experience before taking on his current role as our Director of Construction. 

Day to day, Miguel oversees Management, administrative, and support staff of an Area. His dedication helps to cultivate a team that achieves and focuses on the larger picture of the organization and its strategic goals.

Sommer Martinez

Controller

As Controller, Sommer assumes comprehensive corporate responsibility for overseeing and directing financial controls and processes at B&D Industries, spanning from budgetary analysis and financial reporting to working with external auditors to ensure compliance.

Sommer began her journey with B&D Industries as an intern in 2018, where her dedication and aptitude quickly became evident. Through steadfast commitment and proficiency, she steadily advanced through various roles, including Staff Accountant and Accounting Manager, until she was appointed Controller in 2024. Through her time at B&D she has helped implement new systems and processes to help save time and efficiency to adapt with the growth of the company.

Outside of the corporate realm, Sommer finds solace and rejuvenation with her husband residing in Tijeras with their dog Nala. As an avid reader, she also enjoys immersing herself in diverse literary landscapes, continuously expanding her knowledge and perspective.
