WHAT WE DID
B&D Industries is widely known for our mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work, but projects like the COA Gibson Health Hub Phase II Reroof highlight another critical role we serve: supporting reroofing projects where complex building systems can’t be treated as an afterthought.
For this City of Albuquerque health services facility, uninterrupted operations were non‑negotiable. While National Roofing led the reroof installation, B&D partnered closely with their team to manage the mechanical, plumbing, and electrical impacts across multiple roof areas, ensuring systems remained safe, functional, and fully restored throughout the process.
Our scope focused on coordination and execution where roofing and MEP systems intersect. This included planning and sequencing outages, elevating and adjusting rooftop equipment to accommodate new roof heights, and protecting and restoring HVAC units, exhaust fans, electrical connections, piping, and roof drainage components. With active health services inside the building, our team prioritized reliability, safety, and schedule adherence every step of the way.
This project reflects how B&D adds value beyond trade execution. By bridging the gap between roofing contractors and critical building systems, we help owners and contractors reduce risk, maintain operations, and deliver reroofing projects with confidence—from pre‑planning through final installation.
