WHAT WE DID

B&D served as the primary electrical contractor for the full remodel of the second floor of the City of Albuquerque’s Law Enforcement Center, a critical facility supporting the operations of the Albuquerque Police Department (APD). The project required working in an active government facility with heightened security and operational constraints, demanding precise coordination, scheduling, and adherence to all public safety standards. Our scope began with the careful demolition and removal of all existing electrical infrastructure, including power distribution, lighting, and special systems. B&D then provided and installed a fully upgraded electrical system. In addition to the power and lighting upgrades, B&D performed all rough-in work for the new access control and fire alarm systems, ensuring proper coordination with the specialty subcontractors responsible for those installations. Our team remained engaged throughout the project to support and collaborate with all trade partners, facilitating smooth integration and system commissioning. This project highlights B&D’s ability to deliver high-quality, code-compliant electrical solutions in secure, mission-critical environments while maintaining tight timelines and working seamlessly with multiple stakeholders.
