The best part of my job, as Marketing Coordinator for B&D, is visiting with our field personnel. I recently had the pleasure of visiting with our Arizona crews for an all-hands meeting to discuss the state of the construction industry, provide current company KPIs and acknowledge key employees on their accomplishments.  I was greeted with a very warm welcome as it was 111 degrees that day, but all joking aside, the AZ team welcomed me with open arms and had a sense of morale like no other I had seen before.  Once the sun went down, the company annual pool party was off to a start and this is really where and when I realized, after speaking to my fellow co-workers, that this great city, full of palm trees and cacti is one of the largest growing cities and offers the following attractions:

  1. Adventurous day trips. Take a backroad adventure to Sedona, Montezuma Castle National Monument, Flagstaff, Saguaro National Park, Prescott or Mission of San Xavier del Bac.
  2. Fun nightlife. Once the sun goes down, the locals go out!  Poolside parties at resorts are a hit during the summer; however, during the cooler months, you will find the locals contemplating their venue of choice as there are too many to choose from, but include; bars, lounges, concert halls, dancing halls, etc.
  3. Hiking trails. Phoenix is a mecca of hiking and exploring and was ranked by National Geographic as one of the best cities for hiking in America.  You don’t have to travel far for an outdoor adventure as there are hundreds of nearby trails to choose from.
  4. State Farm Stadium. This facility is one of the top multi-purpose sports & entertainment centers in the country.  With its retractable roof, it is the ideal location for stadium music tours but is more well known for housing the Arizona Cardinals.

B&D offers a work-life balance with the opportunity for a rewarding career. Come see what this family-friendly city has to offer.
